Music

I am a classical composer who loves the rich soundscapes associated with the Romantic, Modern, and Contemporary eras. I compose for Romantic/Modern orchestra as well as various chamber groups. My favorite classical composers are Stravinsky, Ligeti, Shostakovitch, Liszt (father of the orchestral tone poem!), and Brucker. My favorite contemporary composers are David Maslanka and Herman Beeftink. I also play flute and piccolo, and have dabbled in saxophone, clarinet, piano, and percussion.
